The Company of Horsemen

This display team compliments this year's Country and Western show theme.
The Company of Horsemen’s show is choreographed to include lots of drama, trick riding of the sort seen in the best Western rodeos and humour with Handsome Stranger, whose educated horse is just a little too clever for him. As well as commentary, there is background music that makes you want to yell “Yeeh-haw!”
Rockwood Dog Display Team
Display takes the audience through every aspect of dog training from obedience performed to music, dogs jumping through 10inch hoops, agility, fly ball and active Man Work where a dog is seen to apprehend an armed criminal. Also relevant in today's world, a child is saved by her dog whilst being absconded. A great visual effect is created when all the dogs in the team demonstrate their skill and courage by negotiating the 80 ft X 8ft ramp with four fire squares. The dog display delights the audience with their comedy routines and tricks. The Licketysplit American Barn Dance Band
Yeehhaaa! An all American Barn Dance Band, this li’l old band is gonna give yer a grrreat time. Yessir. But American barn dance music is so much more than that. What is America made from – it’s Irish, French, African, Scottish, Eastern European, English, Italian, Jewish and on and on. So their traditional folk music is a wonderful and complex mixture of the lot. You’re bound to have fun with such mixed up music, and don’t get our bass player doing his American impression, he spends too much time out there on holidays. The band have been playing for events of all kinds for many years, from village halls to stately homes [now that’s something the Americans don’t have].Other Highlights
